“I utilize a compassionate, strength based, solution focused approach when working with clients.”

Managing a successful work/life balance can be challenging in today’s complex society with ever-changing conditions and expectations. We often can feel like we are “spinning our wheels” and may not feel like we are doing all we can to take care of ourselves and connect with the people in our lives.

This can sometimes lead to feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, and an overall sense of not feeling “good enough”. These feelings can lead to neglecting our own self-care and/or lead to unhealthy behaviors, like not getting enough sleep, self-isolation, or misusing substances.

We may lose our identity or engage in self-doubt, which affects our self-confidence. These are the times when we can benefit from an objective outside perspective. This is when therapy can be beneficial.

I provide a non-judgemental and compassionate safe space for clients to be their authentic selves. I believe therapy is a collaboration between the therapist and the client.

We will discuss and identify how your existing strengths can be used to reach your goals in therapy and will work together to help you develop additional skills to continue making positive lasting changes. I utilize a compassionate, strength-based, solution-focused approach.

I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples and use a combination of mindfulness training, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, and harm reduction therapy with clients.

My work involves respect and empathy for the clients I work with. I meet clients where they are at and utilize interventions and approaches that work for each client so that they can be successful in obtaining their goals.
