While talking with your friends and family members can be helpful, it’s sometimes necessary to seek the help of a supportive and discreet outside party.

Therapy can be an effective tool for overcoming the mental and emotional struggles that arise in your life: such as feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed. It can help you identify the root of any challenges and obstacles holding you back, while teach you coping mechanisms and techniques along the way.


How Does Individual Therapy Work?

The first step is establishing a relationship with your therapist. During the first few sessions, he or she will begin to understand your needs, while fostering an environment of safety and trust. From these talks, you will then set goals, discuss strategies and identify resources. The pace and speed of your individual therapy sessions and goals are based on your own preferences.

In addition to traditional Western techniques, Well Clinic’s integrative approach to therapy can include somatic experiencing, guided imagery and implementing a mindfulness practice. We also highly recommend meditation and yoga.

How to Choose the Right Therapist
