Get a comprehensive psychiatric medical evaluation

The first step in beginning psychiatry at Well Clinic is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Performed by a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner, this initial examination is both psychological and medical in nature.

Physicians at Well Clinic may ask for your physical, behavioral, relationship and cognitive histories, order lab tests or other medical exams. Then, after a comprehensive assessment, a health care provider will formulate an assessment and recommend a treatment plan.

Treatment recommendations can include talk therapy, medication management and weekly or monthly visits.
