My approach

I am a dual licensed nurse practitioner in psychiatry and family practice. As a family nurse practitioner, I worked in an emergency room (ER) in Detroit, Michigan. My ER experience illustrated the gap between medical and psychiatric care, and how the mind/body connection is often ignored. I pursued my Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in order to develop a practice that integrates medicine and mental health for more effective treatment. In addition to private practice at The Well Clinic, I am also working with homeless Veterans at the San Francisco Veteran’s Medical Center (SFVMC).

My role at The Well Clinic is to be part of an integrative team that seeks to take a holistic approach to care. I specialize in psychiatric medication management that compliments and supports the therapeutic spectrum for each individual’s unique mental health needs.
