This week, we’re featuring a Q&A session with Eric Mill – a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) at Well Clinic.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the great Northwest. It’s one of the many things I love about living in the Bay; I get all the energy and creativity of the area with the access to outdoors, pine trees and nature, reminds me of home!
What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite place you’ve ever been?
Hong Kong is absolutely my favorite place to visit. I love the collision of Eastern and Western cultures in such a beautiful landscape. With so many neighborhoods and islands to visit the ability to wander is limitless.
What are five albums you’d want with you if you were stuck on a deserted island?

What was your career before becoming a mental health practitioner?
I worked as a therapeutic childcare worker at a childcare facility for abused and neglected toddlers. It was an amazing example of the healing power of love and relationship.

Life After God by Douglas Coupland
What is your favorite movie?
Anything by P.T. Anderson or Wes Anderson
What was your favorite toy as a child?
Alphie II – the robot that you put cards in its chest and would play matching games with it. I think it started my love for electronics at a young age.
Do you have any pets? Please introduce them to us.?
My little dude Ace is a rockstar. He’s a 2 and a half year old cockapoo. He loves off leash hikes, bones and camping. His newest interest is chasing neighborhood cats, he currently sits at the window keeping a vigilant watch for any cats that stroll by.
What motivates you?
Believing that all folks are trying their best with what they’ve got.
What makes Well Clinic different?
The sense of community and ability to grow as a clinician from the collective knowledge the team has. It’s a group of compassionate colleagues who are interested in learning together, taking care of each other and having fun when we can.
