“When people feel loved they are freer, more alive, and more powerful than we ever imagined.”

~ Sue Johnson

What is your favorite place you’ve ever been?

Hong Kong is absolutely my favorite place to visit. I love the collision of Eastern and Western cultures in such a beautiful landscape. With so many neighborhoods and islands to visit the ability to wander is limitless.

  1. Animal Collective – Merriweather Post Pavilion
  2. Father John Misty – Fear Fun
  3. Carly Rae Jepsen – E – MO – TION
  4. Sam Cooke – Best of Sam Cooke

What was your career before becoming a mental health practitioner?

I worked as a therapeutic childcare worker at a childcare facility for abused and neglected toddlers. It was an amazing example of the healing power of love and relationship.

Life After God by Douglas Coupland

What is your favorite movie?

Anything by P.T. Anderson or Wes Anderson

What was your favorite toy as a child?

Alphie II – the robot that you put cards in its chest and would play matching games with it. I think it started my love for electronics at a young age.

My little dude Ace is a rockstar. He’s a 2 and a half year old cockapoo. He loves off leash hikes, bones and camping. His newest interest is chasing neighborhood cats, he currently sits at the window keeping a vigilant watch for any cats that stroll by.

What motivates you?

Believing that all folks are trying their best with what they’ve got.

What makes Well Clinic different?

The sense of community and ability to grow as a clinician from the collective knowledge the team has. It’s a group of compassionate colleagues who are interested in learning together, taking care of each other and having fun when we can.

  • I absolutely love Well Clinic! From the beginning, my husband and I felt like we were in a comfortable and safe space.

Our couple’s therapy bridged gaps in our relationship and helped us understand each other that much more.

    Ivette B

  • Well Clinic is an oasis, especially for busy professionals like me.

It’s a relaxing and safe space, nothing like the stuffy or drab offices you’d expect when going to a therapist.

    Brianna S

  • Well Clinic’s inviting and professional design makes me feel comfortable and at ease, which probably benefits the work I am doing.

In fact, it doesn’t really feel like a therapy clinic at all, which I find awesome.
